Spring Blooms

Spring Blooms on Coffee and Cactus

Sorry it’s been a quiet past few weeks on the blog- it’s been a whirlwind of a time for me lately. It’s that whole feeling like you have 36 hours of things to do each day, and clearly not enough time to even hope to get everything done.

Last weekend was the ideal Sunday-funday in sunny San Diego- I got a chance to relax, head to the farmer’s market, and make some beautiful (and reasonably priced) flower arrangements for home. The extra large Thai iced coffee, and a ton of yummy food samples from the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market were the perfect thing after having a bad cold for the past week.

We decided to grab a few different bunches of flowers and split them up between us so we'd have more variety. Definitely a nice idea to share among a few friends!

Old wives tale or truth? Apparently putting a penny at the bottom of your vase helps your flowers last longer.

Pretty Kiki frolicking in the garden; a great Sunday in a picture.

All in all, a great weekend that I hope to make a tradition.

Stay sunny,
